It’s easy to get transcripts for free with Listen Notes and NotebookLM.
- Search for the episode at Listen Notes (just click the Listen Later link if coming from The Podcast Browser.
- Click … More.
- Then click Download Audio on the next box that appears.
- That brings up a black screen and the podcast starts to play. Select the ellipsis.
- Then select Download and save the mp3 file.
- Open NotebookLM.
- Click Create new notebook or open a notebook that you want to upload the podcast to. Click Add sources, then Upload files and select the file you just saved.
- The file then uploads, is transcribed (which takes a couple of minutes), and a summary comes up in the Chat window. Click the file name in the Sources window to bring up the transcript. Use the Chat window to search and ask questions about the transcript.
