  1. I wish the interviewer had probed more about the stories in the book Dr. el Kaliouby’s family said should not be told. Sure, those are her stories, but not only her stories. How did she decide to publish them anyway? Are there any stories that she agreed were best kept private?

    This is partially a question of emotional intelligence, and partially one of collectivist/individualistic values, so pertinent to the conversation.
